Carbon to Community: Turning Farm Waste into Climate-Positive Building Materials
Climate-Positive Construction Starts with Agricultural Waste
RHINOZ REWO Solutions is a carbon-negative material innovation platform that transforms agricultural waste into high-performance, low-carbon construction materials. Through the Carbon to Community initiative, RHINOZ REWO collaborates with Aromatic Farm, Thailand’s first GI-certified aromatic coconut producer, to convert coconut waste into durable building products that store carbon, reduce emissions, and strengthen local livelihoods.
This initiative proves that buildings can become carbon sinks, not carbon sources.
What Is Carbon to Community?
Carbon to Community is a circular economy project that converts farm by-products—such as coconut husks, shells, and residues—into biochar-enhanced construction materials with long-term carbon sequestration benefits.
By embedding agricultural carbon into long-life building components, RHINOZ REWO delivers:
-
Carbon-negative material solutions
-
Reduced agricultural waste and open burning
-
New income streams for farmers
-
Lower embodied carbon in construction
The project aligns with Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy, global Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) principles, and internationally recognized sustainability frameworks.
Our Sustainability Vision
RHINOZ REWO believes the future of construction is regenerative. Carbon to Community reframes buildings as long-term carbon storage systems, not emissions liabilities. By embedding agricultural carbon into durable infrastructure, RHINOZ REWO delivers a practical, scalable, and community-driven model for climate action.
Local action. Real materials. Global impact.
